Rick Tsakalios is a Huntley, Illinois, executive who guides Papa G’s, a family restaurant with seating for 125 patrons that has generated sales of more than $1 million annually. He began with the restaurant in 2005, overseeing staff recruitment, training, and professional development activities. Also responsible for vendor relations and weekly inventory, Rick Tsakalios oversaw the purchasing of beverages and food, processed payroll, and prepared sales reports weekly.
Mr. Tsakalios also worked in the tech sector, managing computer and electronics repair and setup and ensuring that business and home network infrastructures were functioning smoothly. He assisted with the migration to a new operating system and installed and configured security cameras equipped with remote view capabilities. He oversaw the setup of home and business networks designed to accommodate connections for multiple devices and printers.
Mr. Tsakalios served as treasurer of the Greek Orthodox Youth Association in Niles in the early 2000s. He balanced the organization’s budget through a variety of fundraisers. He subsequently served as the association’s president, organizing activities such as group discussions, fundraisers, and outings.
